Troubleshooting:
Troubleshooting is part of installation. While it should be very seldom you need to troubleshoot issues, rest assured it can solved by a few quick steps as outlined in the attached Troubleshooting Checklist in the Attachments Sections of this module.
Support Line:
This procedure applies to all field installers or contractors performing installations of Drone devices in vehicles or assets. It ensures timely escalation to the appropriate support personnel for minimal disruption to the install schedule and customer satisfaction.
Step 1: Contact Installer Support Line
- Use the dedicated installer support phone number at 888-820-3690
- Available support hours Mon–Fri 6AM–5PM PST
- If outside support hours, leave a detailed voicemail and/or escalate via mobile ticketing app.
Step 2: Provide Required Information – When escalating, the installer must have the following ready:
- Installer name and contact number
- Customer name or company
- Vehicle type and year/make/model
- Device model and Serial Number
- Installation type (hardwired, OBD)
- Description of the issue encountered
- Steps already taken to troubleshoot
