Drone Fleet – Installer Certification

Testing functionality of an installed Drone device before releasing it is a crucial step in the installation process. Navigating through the installer portal is a simple checklist to ensure all systems are functioning properly.

Watch this video on how simple our Activation Portal is to use and activate a device.

Installer Portal / Activation

  • Open the installer portal and enter the Serial Number of the device and follow the on-screen prompts.

Power Test

  • Verify LED indicators (GPS lock, Cellular signal, Power status).

Ignition Test

  • Turn the vehicle ignition ON and OFF to confirm proper detection

GPS Lock

  • Check the GPS indicator light or the installer portal for accurate location of asset

Data Communication

  • Confirm the device is communicating to any connected devices (lock, unlock, start)

Calibration of Unit (Hard currently due to Android Only Support)

  • If installing an XC take this time to align any / all cameras installed to the proper viewing angle.
