Drone Fleet – Installer Certification

Installing Drone devices often requires partial disassembly of the vehicle and integration with its electrical system. To complete installations safely and efficiently, technicians should be equipped with the appropriate tools and materials.

Recommended Tools

Technicians should have, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Panel Removal Tools – Essential for safely disassembling vehicle interiors without causing damage.

  • Hand and Power Tools – A basic set for removing interior components as needed.

  • Wire Integration Tools – Such as wire strippers, crimpers, soldering tools, and heat guns for secure electrical connections.

  • Digital Multimeter and/or Computer-Safe Test Light – For safely testing and verifying vehicle circuits during installation.

Commonly Used Consumables

The following disposable parts may be required during installation and are not included in the Drone device packaging:

  • Vinyl Tape

  • Fuses (assorted types and ratings)

  • Crimp Connectors (various sizes)

  • Wire Ties

  • Split Loom (for wire protection and routing)

  • We do not specify or regulate exact brands or models of tools and components. However, technicians are expected to come fully prepared with everything necessary to complete an installation from start to finish.

  • Using the correct tools and materials helps prevent vehicle damage and ensures a safe and reliable installation of the DroneMobile device.
